Profitable on paper. Leaking in practice.
Growing service companies don't usually lose money on the work. They lose it around the work: the after-hours call that hit voicemail and booked with a competitor. The estimate that went out Tuesday and was never followed up. The invoice that waited a week. The 2,000 past customers nobody has contacted in two years.
None of these show up on a P&L, because money you never captured never becomes a line item. That's why the leaks persist in well-run companies. They're invisible until someone measures them.
Six places the money goes
Missed & after-hours calls
Every unanswered ring is a customer choosing whoever picks up next.
Slow lead response
Homeowners hire whoever responds first. Hours-later is usually too late.
Quotes that go quiet
Estimates with no follow-up system die silently, and nobody logs the loss.
Slow invoicing & aging receivables
Work you've already done, cash you don't have.
Customers you never re-contact
Your past-customer list is an asset. Untouched, it's just storage.
Decisions made blind
If the only weekly number is the bank balance, every other leak stays hidden.
THE METHOD
The Revenue Leak Index™
Most consultants hand you opinions. The RLI is a measurement. We score your business across seven revenue pillars, using your own call logs, quote records, receivables, and customer data, and we attach a documented dollar estimate to every leak we find, with the assumptions stated in writing.
The result is a number. Not a range, not a feeling. A defensible estimate of the gross margin your business is losing annually, built from your own records.

Visibility
Each pillar is scored from your own business records, not industry averages or assumptions. The RLI produces a documented finding for every area where money is leaking.
THE PROCESS
How it works
01
We review your records
02
We score seven pillars
03
We present the findings
04
We help you recover it
Call logs, quotes, invoices, receivables, customer history. Real data, not guesswork.
Every revenue category is measured and given a dollar estimate based on your own numbers.
You receive a written report with the total leakage identified, category by category, assumption by assumption.
You choose the fixes. We build the systems, train the team, and implement the improvements.
AI & AUTOMATION
AI should solve a measured problem, not become another expense.
Copperworth implements AI and automation after the underlying process is sound. We don't sell chatbots. We build systems that recover documented revenue: missed-call response, quote follow-up, speed-to-lead, scheduling support, and reporting. We've already measured what they're worth to your business.

WHY COPPERWORTH
Copperworth takes no vendor commissions, resells no software, and recommends no technology we haven't already decided you need based on measured results. Every recommendation is built from your own numbers.
We are not here to change your culture, replace your team, or tell you how to run your business. We are here to make the team you already have more effective, using AI and modern systems so your operation does more without adding headcount.
Our fee is designed to come out of recovered revenue, not your operating budget. If we don't find at least 3× our fee in documented leakage, you pay nothing.

We measure before we recommend. Opinions are cheap.
No vendor commissions
We are paid by you, not by software companies.
Your records, your numbers

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Devin Benter
Founder, Copperworth
I've built businesses in mortgage, consumer advocacy, and technology. Some succeeded. Some didn't. All of them taught me something I couldn't have learned any other way: that the gap between what a business earns and what it keeps is almost never visible to the person running it, because that person is too busy running it.
In 2008, I watched an entire industry collapse and shifted my focus to helping homeowners navigate a system that wasn't built for them. We filed regulatory complaints, escalated cases to executive decision-makers at major lenders, and got real outcomes for people who had run out of options. That work taught me what it means to find leverage inside a broken system, and use it on behalf of someone who can't see it themselves.
Later, I built a signing services platform connecting 150,000 notaries with escrow, title, and mortgage companies across the country. We white-labeled the technology and built the relationships ourselves, because the real product wasn't software, it was making sure closings happened and closing ratios stayed maintained. Running that business taught me what every owner eventually learns: the leaks aren't in the work. They're around it.
Copperworth exists because I would have hired this firm at every stage of my career, and didn't have access to one.
I'm not here to tell you how to run your business. I'm here to find what it's costing you that you can't currently see, and to help you get it back.
FAQ
Common questions
What exactly is the Revenue Leak Index™?
The RLI is a structured diagnostic that reviews your call logs, quote records, invoices, receivables, and customer data, and attaches a documented dollar estimate to every area where your business is losing revenue. It is not a software product. It is an evidence-based analysis delivered as a written report.
How long does the assessment take?
Two weeks from the date we receive your records. We present the findings live. We never just email a PDF.
What records do you need from us?
Phone logs, CRM or estimate records, recent invoices, AR aging, your price book, and about 30 minutes each with you, your dispatcher, and one senior technician. Most businesses have everything we need already.
What if you don't find enough leakage to justify the fee?
If the assessment does not identify at least three times the fee in annual gross-margin leakage, you pay nothing. That threshold is defined in writing before we start.
Are you going to tell us to hire more people or change how we operate?
No. We are here to make the team you already have more effective. Our goal is to recover margin through better systems and processes, not to add headcount or restructure your business.
Do you sell software or take commissions from vendors?
Never. We take no commissions, resell no software, and have no financial relationship with any technology vendor. Every recommendation is based solely on what your numbers say you need.
What happens after the assessment?
You receive a prioritized Recovery Roadmap. You decide what to act on. If you want Copperworth to help implement the fixes, we offer a structured 90-day Recovery Sprint. There is no obligation to continue beyond the assessment.
KNOW YOUR NUMBER
Find out what your business is leaking.
